Yes, the Ros Beiaard is the pride of every Dendermonden resident. But the love for our three Guild giants should not be underestimated either! From the 15th century, human-shaped giants appeared in processions. Many were lost, but Indiaan, Mars, and Goliath have withstood the test of time. Every last Thursday of August, they take center stage in the annual Katuit Giants procession. They are also a regular part of the Ros Beiaard procession.
