During a procession in 1648, the Saint Sebastian Guild was represented by a giantess. The giantess carried a bow and was given the evocative name “Huntress Goddess.” In 1714, the guild appeared in a parade with a “new” giant: Indiaan. He bore striking similarities to the Huntress Goddess of 1648. At that time, giants were sometimes repainted. It is therefore possible that Indiaan, now dark-skinned, is the former Huntress Goddess. Indiaan commemorates the discovery of America.
Indiaan was the giant of the Saint Sebastian Archers’ Guild, measuring 4.45 meters tall and weighing 95 kg.
