Dendermonde is located in the triangle Ghent-Brussels-Antwerp, in the province of East Flanders, at the confluence of the Dender and the Scheldt. The old name “Tenerae Monda” refers to this unique location at both “mother rivers.”
Dendermonde is a true event city where there is always something happening. Of course, the city is best known for its ten-yearly Ros Beiaard procession and the annual Giants’ parade “Katuit”, but there is much more to explore.
