Domus Portus means “House by the harbor,” and the B&B is located in the heart of Dendermonde with views over the old Dender. Since 2016, Jo and Silke have been running their B&B with great joy and dedication. For the couple, personal welcome, atmosphere, passion, peace, comfort, and service are central.
Expect 2 romantic rooms with cozy décor, attention to detail, and design. Each room has its own color palette and is named after a hat, in remembrance of the building’s past. The B&B Domus Portus building was originally a hat shop and was built in 1923 from the rubble of World War I. Jo and Silke have tried to preserve as many authentic elements as possible and maintain the building’s unique atmosphere.
