Bluethroat Cycling Route (37 km)

Dendermonde owes its name and origin to the confluence of the Dender and the Scheldt. This made the city vulnerable not only to military conflicts but also to floods. Today, the river mouth is located further downstream, and the proximity of two rivers is primarily a tourist asset for the city. The Bluethroat Cycling Route is 37 kilometers long.
